ugh

so i had a disappointing weigh in but i'm running more so that's a bonus...can't let the whole thing let me down...down quite a bit and hopefully if i keep up the excersize this will be a blip on the radar...anywho its been a long week so its time for bed...until next time

heat

so the heat has been tough on the work out routine...haven't really run over the last few days and really only did 3 and a half miles...call me crazy but at least i got something done...thursday though i ran a little more than 2 quarters(seperately but both quarters i ran a little bit more so maybe 2 and a quarter laps)...but i felt it was time to start stepping it up a bit...
a bonus to the heat(yeah thats right i said bonus) is that i'm making sure to get plenty of water...and thankfully when i'm not able to stop home there are places that sell 2 liters of poland spring for 2 bux...bonus!

tomorrow they say its supposed to be cooler(and by cooler i mean 90 degrees rather than 100 + or 98 degrees)...so we shall see how it goes tomorrow...

hot

so its been tough the last few days getting out there and excersizing but i did it...yesterday i went earlier to the track because i was going out later and just getting through the 3 miles was really hard...but it was done...still ran/walked but not as much as i try to do...

today was hotter but i went later so that was helpful...it was also helpful that its rained a bit during my last mile...and today i was able to run a full quarter which i was psyched about...so 2 full quarters in a week and a half...woo hoo...

weigh in tomorrow and hopefully it will be a good one...not really expecting a big loss since i'm closing in on 3 years of my weight loss journey(argh) and know that by this point losing more than half a pound is unexpected...just want to get the weight off...fingers crossed!

tired

so the last two days i went running at the high school track which is a regular sized track(i.e 4 laps = 1 mile) and ran a full quarter yesterday...did 4 miles yesterday and 2 and a half today...not really loving the whole running thing but if it helps to drop the pounds then i'm all for it...have to say though i've been feeling really good...it helps that i do the run/walk combo so as to ease my way back into things...

i'm a bit exhausted though...maybe its the heat i don't know...i mean it is summer and all that stuff...things are slowly looking up!

fun

so opted to hit the track today and had a really great workout...ran a complete lap around the track thinking that it was a 1/4 of a mile but apparently the track where i went to actually takes 5 laps around to make a mile...so i really ran 1/5 of a mile...but i'm psyched i was able to complete a full lap...

i never really thought i would ever start running again but it actually feels good once i finish...so here's hoping i keep it up

yay

so i had a really good week at weight watchers dropping a whopping 2 and a half pounds...apparently adding the intervals of running has helped...who knew...still have a bit to make up for the disappointing fourth of july week but its a big start...haven't had that big of a loss in quite sometime...so clearly i will be sticking with the running...

my legs are still getting used to it all but i got new sneakers today which should make things better...after 6 months though things have generally improved...i haven't lost as much weight as i hoped i would but i have definitely toned up and am proud of the fact that i have continued the exercise routine that i started...i've managed to get at least 5-6 days of exercising a week although the 2 weeks i've gone every day...i'm also finally getting a lot of water in which is huge for me...even though i'm not where i thought i would be weight wise i'm hoping to get down more now that i'm running and drinking more water things should be looking up...

argh

so didn't have a great way in this past week but have gotten back into the swing of things...i'm not in the mood to give up on losing the weight and i just need to snap back into things...went out and excersized today not at the boardwalk but in the park in our town...bonus that it was raining so i was basically alone(not super smart but i had more fun)...ended up having the best workout...started doing a bit of interval training and ran quite a bit...still walked more but i ran about 10 minutes or so of the 40 minute workout...i felt great...

just have to slowly work into the running...i don't love to run but maybe if i ease into it and run in places not many people will see me things will work out...fingers crossed!
